Manage security settings for an area

Manage security settings for an area

From an area page, a user who has the manage area permissions right can edit the rights assigned to a group for their area.

  1. In the Actions list, click Manage Security.
  2. On the Manage Security Settings for "AreaName" page, select the check box next to one or more users and groups.

    Note  If you select more than one user or group, the changes you make apply to all of them.

  3. Click Edit.
  4. On the Edit Rights on "Area Name" page, select or clear the check boxes for the rights you want to include or exclude.

    Note  To see a complete list of rights, click Advanced Rights.

  5. Click OK.

Note  Rights for an area apply to the area and to any subareas that inherit from this area.
