Approve or reject content for an area

Approve or reject content for an area

To change the approval status of a listing in an area, do one of the following:

Approve a listing

  1. On the page that displays the listing, in the Actions list, click Edit Page.
  2. Point to the listing, click the arrow on the bar that appears, and then click Approve on the menu that appears.

Note  An icon of a small clock will overlay the icon for all listings that are pending approval.

Reject a listing

  1. On the page that displays the listing, in the Actions list, click Edit Page.
  2. Point to the listing, click the arrow on the bar that appears, and then click Reject on the menu that appears.

Undo approval of a listing

If you want to change the status of a listing from approved back to pending, you can undo the approval and the item will be hidden.

  1. On the page that displays the listing, in the Actions list, click Edit Page.
  2. Point to the listing, click the arrow on the bar that appears, and then click Undo Approval on the menu that appears.

Note  An icon of a small clock will overlay the icon for all listings that are pending approval.

View and manage all listings for an area

  1. On the page that displays the area, click Manage Content.
  2. On the Documents and Lists page, in the Portal Listings section, click Portal Listings.
  3. To change the status of a listing, point to the listing, click the arrow on the bar that appears, and then click the appropriate action on the menu that appears.
